The Often-Overlooked Point
Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) failure is a common cause of data center outages. Don’t put your UPS on the front line: where it could be damaged by a surge, the Armada redirects the excess energy before it reaches it. Protection of the automatic transfer switch (ATS) is equally critical: in the event of an outage, it must function correctly to enable the switch to the generator — without it, backup power won’t take over, no matter the condition of the generator itself.
